Frammenti poetici con illustrazioni di Sara “Shifter” Pellucchi
Introduzione
L’ispirazione per questi frammenti nasce dalla contemplazione d alcune opere di Shifter (Sara Pellucchi), autrice di dipinti astratti e visionari in cui l’uomo, ridotto a figura minuscola e indistinta, è circondato dall’immensità dell’universo. Al cospetto dell’infinito l’essere umano sembrerebbe smarrirsi, farsi insignificante, poco più di un puntino nero in un mondo monocromatico.
In realtà l’individuo si trova nel vasto “spazio delle varianti”, come lo definisce lo scrittore Vadim Zeland, vale a dire l’insieme delle possibilità di scelta realizzabili ed il groviglio delle linee di vita perseguibili. Ognuno di noi, apparentemente, è semplice attore in una sceneggiatura immutabile, fatta di scelte precedenti e di conseguenze di azioni compiute. Ma è in nostro potere la possibilità di gestire la nostra realtà, di tracciare il nostro destino, e l’uomo di Shifter, pur smarrito in un deserto colorato o circondato da specchi e “false finestre”, possiede il massimo grado di libertà.
Le mie “istruzioni di vita” sono semplici inviti a vivere nell’istante, ad accettare l’esistente e a scegliere il futuro proiettando davanti a noi il fotogramma della pellicola della vita che desideriamo. Il modello di riferimento sono le composizioni contenute in “Grapefruit” di Yoko Ono, raccolta di liriche che fu di ispirazione a John Lennon per il testo della celeberrima “Imagine” . Scrivo in inglese perché fin da adolescente nei testi delle canzoni e, in seguito, nelle pagine dei libri scritti in questa lingua mi sono persa e ritrovata molte volte, tanto da farla mia, di tanto in tanto, per dare voce ai miei pensieri.
Visioni, letture, parole, musica si condensano e si sintetizzano in queste semplici frasi che, se lette e meditate, mi auguro possano guidare chi le leggerà, tenendo lo sguardo fisso sui dipinti di Shifter, verso l’allargamento della propria consapevolezza ed il raggiungimento dei propri fini.

Biografia dell’artista
Sara “Shifter” Pellucchi è nata a Seregno nel 1983. Ha frequentato la scuola d’arte di Cabiate (CO).
I suoi quadri esprimono il proprio inconscio, e in essi la propria persona ed i propri sentimenti vengono rapportati al mondo circostante. Forme monocromatiche ed immagini essenziali si muovono sinuosamente nello spazio delle tele, dando vita a sensazioni, percezioni e storie.

Sara ha fondato e gestisce il sito www.artcovercovers.com, che si occupa di recensire copertine di dischi, locandine di film e di esplorare i rapporti tra arte e musica in tutte le loro sfaccettature.
È autrice di tre libri: “Janus” (Cerebro edizioni, 2015) con Alessandro Colombo e Leonardo Marzorati, “Contrariolandia” (Gilgamesh edizioni, 2017) con Antonella Astori e Lorenzo Mapelli, e del romanzo “Foschie” (Gilgamesh Edizioni, 2016).

Apparently, we are born without an instruction manual for life. We can go on for years just suffering, falling, failing, but our existence is not “a valley of tears”.
Suffering can be turned into joy. After every fall, as it has been said, there is a rise, and failure is only a different form of success.
Everything happens to you is not “good” or “bad”. It just happens, it is neutral and it’s up to you to turn your worst disgrace into your greatest fortune.
